Signs Supports & Passively Safe Sign Supports
We provide solutions for all your sign-mounting requirements, no matter how large or small. We have extensive stocks of fully galvanised steel posts and masts, H-Frames, cranked posts and accessories on site. Here, our specialist manufacturing team cut, bend and weld everything to your design before installation. Non-standard post diameters can be supplied in your choice of size and transported in any length to suit any mounting height you have in mind. For higher signs, I-Beams (12m plus) are also available. Doing everything on site gives us the ability to manage short lead times or react efficiently to urgent customer requests.
If you’re struggling to erect a standard post we also supply posts, in a variety of sizes, with a base plate already attached. Made from galvanised steel, base plates are an efficient and cost-effective method of installing a post and sign onto an existing surface, where it may not be possible to excavate a new post base. It also means the signs can be easily removed and reinstalled later if required.
Our passively safe sign support posts and masts also provide a safe and stable support structure for mounting a traffic sign. They are crash-tested and can be used to mount traffic signs without the need for safety barrier protection. Their unique breakaway and energy adsorbing qualities minimise injury in the event of a collision.
Another method of enhancing road safety are our plastic post covers, which come in black, white and yellow. They’re durable and provide excellent visibility to pedestrians and motorists. These hollow plastic sections slide over existing 76mm post, in sections 300mm long.
